FINE ARTS, SPORTS IN EDUCATION
Now a day’s everyone emphasizing on overall development of child. Parents,
teachers, schools, govt, all are trying to change the old ways of upbringing,
educating child.
E.g.: Before say 20 years ago the percentage of students involves in
extracurricular activities were less specially in the sports and fine arts. But
now a day’s parents are exposed to technology, different professions also the
reality shows on different TV channels so many children are engaged in sports
or fine arts. Both these areas are very helpful in overall development of a
child. As sports lead to physical fitness and fine arts boost the creativity in
once mind.
PRESENT SCENARIO
1. Some parents think that only the child who wants to make carrier in sport
should go regularly to sport coaching.
2. If child is engaged in competitive exams, he had no time to spend on
sports
3. Many a times the children with fine arts background go to art classes.
4. Some students gets attracted toward TV shows like Sa re ga ma or
zalak....., so go to dance or drama classes.
5. In many schools the standard of fine art and physical training classes
is not good as academic classes.
FUTURE DEMAND
1. Physical fitness – At present there are maximum diabetic patients in
India. If you see food habits of children, the obesity is the problem.
Presently India is the young country as most of the population is in bet 16 to
55 age group. So we have to take care of
our future. That is why physical fitness is very necessary.
2. Creativity – According to some people creativity is needed only for the
art people. But if you see creativity is needed in each sector of life.
Creative people think differently. As creativity teaches you to think
differently, to give many solutions for single problem. Creative people in any
industry help to increase production.
MY SUGGESTION
1. Government should compulsory along with tenth standard exam, the
physical fitness test and certificate for the admission in college. Also it can
make N.C.C. compulsory.
2. It is also made compulsory that student should pass examinations conducted
by institutions like Gandharv Vidyalaya in one of the fine arts like classical
dance, instruments.
Because of this the future generation of India will be healthy and creative.
And Dream of every one that is India will be super power in the world will come
true.
